I have become friends with my neighbor Nick! He's a muscian and has just picked up banjo. We've been doing a lot of activism in our neighborhood as well as music playing in my bedroom studio. We started jamming one day and ended up playing this song, a long time classic favorite of mine since childhood, and I loved singing it.
Also, in this economy, there is something so sweet and sad about this "hobo paradise" feeling like a paradise for any American.
I hope you enjoy it!
**BANDCAMP FRIDAY 2-6-26 = all proceeds will go to this GoFundMe helping families in Minnesota who cannot leave their homes to go to work!***
"Hi friends and community,
Due to increased I.C.E. activity in our cities, some families in our neighborhoods are unable to safely leave their homes. Parents are missing work, and families are struggling to access food and basic necessities—not by choice, but for their safety. This fundraiser was created to support families who are sheltering in place by providing groceries, essential household items, and safe home drop-offs. Helping with rent and monthly bills. Even a small donation can help put food on a family’s table. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page makes a big difference.Thank you for choosing compassion and standing with our neighbors. Together, we can help families feel supported, seen, and safe."
